Greetings, The deep dive at Lake Travis went very well this last weekend, in fact it went exactly as Adam, our intructor, planned it. It was a beautiful day not a cloud in the sky and the water was still in the high 70's even at 90'. I had expected it to be pitch black at 90' but it wasn't, even without a light on you could still see around you. Visibility was not very good, maybe 6' or so and the lake is so low we almost had to dig a hole in the bottom to get to 90' but we made it. Will was my buddy and Angela and Chris were buddies and we all had a good time.

Thanks again Adam for taking us to Lake Travis for our deep dive certification.

Scubapro Gear Deal:

When you purchase a BC with Air 2, regulator set you get either a FREE Aladin Prime Wrist computer Retail $458, or I can use that to reduce the price of any scubapro computer up to $458 off the retail. We'll still take our standard 10% off the BC, Air 2 and regulator too.

This makes a full scubapro rig up to 30% and it still carries all the scubapro warranties, not even Leisure Pro can touch this deal. This is authorized by Scubapro, We're the only dealer in Dallas that can do up to 12 of these, (yes I'm limited) but the other Scubapro guys can't. So if you know someone who was wavering on buying a rig, or was going to buy a zeagle, tusa, aeris, oceanic now they can setup to to higher quality, better warranty, for lower price . I've only got 12 of these that I can sell, so when they're gone they're gone and we're advertising the hell out of it.

Also right now:

20% ALL in store wetsuits
15% off ALL in store swimsuits
$300 off Compumask
$200 any Aeris wrist hoseless dive computer
$65 Drysuit specialty for November

Just FYI, so pass this info along, you all should have gotten a copy in your e-mail, if not lets add it.

We had a good time at the 14th annual Lake Travis Clean Up. Not only are there a lot of divers there are also a lot of people on shore that are picking up trash as well. When the clean up is over it is off to Carlos and Charlies for free food drinks and ice cream, there is music and some really nice door prizes and a lot of them.

Trash Fest 08 will be on October 4th this year in New Braunfels. The Comal River is the shortest river in Texas is spring fed and runs cool and clear. More food and fun with prizes for the most trash, shoes, sunglasses and the most unusual.

The San Marcus River underwater cleanup is September 20, we have not participated before but plan to this time. I am sure it will be a good time and the river is cool and clear.

The 14th annual Lake Travis underwater cleanup is September 7, I attended last years and it was a good time, with free food, tee shirts and entertainment. It is a big event and well attended. My son lives in Austin and they have a few spots open if you are interested. We will be diving September 6th as well.

You can contact me at tryscuba@att.net if would like to attend.

Last year they took us out to an island on a big dive boat (double decker) gave us onion sacks and told us to clean up the trash on the bottom.
