Ozone Outer Layer protection is the final or outer layer for your thermal protection system or underwear, Drybase Xerotherm or Arctic base layers.
Fourth Element Ozone is windproof and waterproof keeping dry and comfortable before the dive whether you are on a boat or on the shore. Ozone is designed to fit over your Arctic, Xerotherm or under suit for additional warmth and to protect you from the elements before and between adventures.
Ozone has unique gill vents on the left shoulder and both wrists maintain wind resistance but allow air to escape when used with a dry suit whether it has shoulder or wrist dump valves. The pockets on both the trousers and jacket are vented, when open they allow more air to move when using a drysuit. Just in case there's also auxiliary vents in the arm pits.
Keeping it in place is no problem with this two piece system because the jacket has elasticated crotch straps and prevent the jacket from riding up during the dive. Adjustable wrist and ankle cuffs (on trousers, pants) can be tightened before donning the dry suit.
The unique shell outer fabric is made from a breathable waterproof membrane which a microfleece is bonded to giving it a hardwearing outerlayer with good abrasion resistance and low friction in side the drysuit.
