BigBlue TL-6, Technical diving light has been manufactured like no others before it. Big Blue engineered toughness and simplicity in one. This light does not look like it was made it someone's garage. Its aluminum alloy housing with chrome plated clamps and custom triangle shaped quick links show that its clearly different. The connector is aluminum with multiple o-ring seal and a switch that is magnetic, so there's no penetration through the battery pack. The batteries are NiMh and charge very fast, and comes with a charger with two modes, a quick charge and a slow charge for a fuller charge.
The head of the Big Blue TL-6 is equally awesome with 6 LED's creating 1300 lumens of light, several times more than HID lights years ago. Divers used to say that light cannons's and HID lights were "like turning on the sun", but they haven't seen the TL-6. Of course there's a TL-9 with 1800 lumens, but for most this is an incredible amount. We felt that this was the best combination of price and power.
